The Western Knights were honoured to host Member for Cottesloe and Premier of Western Australia, the Honourable Colin Barnett MLA, at its home ground Nash Field yesterday afternoon.
Mr Barnett accepted the club’s invitation to tour the current facilities, as well as hear the ambitious plans the club has to modernise the clubrooms. During the visit, Mr Barnett confirmed his support for the club’s proposal and pledged his assistance to the Knights as they move forward with the redevelopment.
The Western Knights President, Gordana Sliskovic, and Secretary Andrija Zuvela, presented Mr Barnett with a 2014 Knights jersey and club scarf, and Mr Barnett said he will be at a Knights home game as soon as he can!
