Just wanted to share the good news that our U11 blue team secured 2nd spot today in the top div with one game to go!! It’s been an amazing season and the boys have been an absolute pleasure to watch every week.
Our dedicated coaches have taught them a beautiful passing game and parents have been a wonderful support group on the sideline.
We have one league game to go next week, then a couple of friendlies and a tournament at Rockingham and the big Bunbury Cup in Oct where we will compete with 19 other U11 teams.
On Tuesday 27th August 2013, the council of the Town of Mosman Park passed a council resolution to approve the club’s planning application for the upgrade of Nash Field. The club is delighted to announce that the council has given us full planning approval for our plans. The council minutes can be found at: Council Agenda 2013
It is important to note that the resolution was passed 6 votes to 0, showing clearly that the Town of Mosman Park are in full support of our club and our plans for the community.
The next step is gaining the necessary building licence, which in itself is a massive task. We are asking for anyone in our own network who may know a registered architect or similar who can assist the club at discounted or pro bono rate. Please contact Andrija Zuvela on 0408 006 580 if you can assist.
Many thanks to those who have helped to get us this far, in particular our Senior and Junior club committees, Ante Jujnovich from Palazzo Homes and the fantastic guys at DTMT, who have been invaluable so far.
Our women’s team is hosting at Wine and Cheese Karaoke Night on Sep 6th 2013 starting at 7pm. Funds raised will assist the team in attending the Annual Croatian Soccer Tournament in Melbourne.

The Western Knights held their annual Corporate Luncheon on 7 June 2013 at the exquisite Tompkins on Swan venue in Alfred Cove with Australian soccer legend, John Kosmina as guest speaker.
John spoke of his career in Australian Soccer, his overseas ventures and now of the current A-League and Socceroos situation. Some entertaining stories were told.
With over 150 guests, the day was a huge success for the club as we continue to advertise our clubs brand to not only the WA Soccer Community but to the WA Corporate Community.
Master of ceremonies, Ashley Morrison, did another great job for us and we thank him for his efforts along with Domenic Lupis and George Grasa for once again their great contributions to the function.
We would also like to express our thankyou and gratitude to the following businesses who generously donated prizes for our raffle.
The Left Bank
WA Croatian Community Centre Fremantle
Euro Style Meats
We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next Corporate Function.
