This is the first of the news coming from the Coaches for the upcoming 2013 season
The Knights have appointed Robbie Dunn , Andy Thorburn , Wally Aquino and Alan Pottier to look after their squads for the new season and this new group of coaches will look to make some major changes in the way the coaching and playing department is run.
Alan Pottier who will look after the u/18’s is looking to start trials in early October and these will be conducted twice a week for a number of weeks at Nash Field
The coaches are also already on the look out for new players to add to the current playing group to help strengthen the outlook of the squad for the new season.
We have targeted no fewer than 12 new players to bring in and negotiations have already started with players who have finished this years commitments to their current clubs and more will continue in the up coming weeks
We have a Ukranian born striker playing currently in Italy agreeing to join us and he will be unveiled at this years pre season so we are excited about seeing what he can offer the club
Rest assured this coaching staff will be fully committed to the club and will bring with them a new code of conduct expected of the players and a totally professional approach will be brought to the club under this regime
All current players will be contacted soon by the club to outline the new rules brought in by Football West and we are confident that we will be able to keep the players that the club believes will help us move forward
I look forward to this new season and working with the other coaches and the current and new playing staff and hopefully we can guide the Knights to future success
Robbie Dunn
