Our fantastic Western Knights Equal Footingball Senior team held off rivals Cockburn City over the weekend to finish on top and be crowned 2017 Season Champions!
Led superbly by competition leading goalscorer Jarrod Nathan with 40 goals, and Michael Goodman with 21 goals, the team went through the season scoring a huge 86 goals in 11 games! Jarrod Nathan actually ended up Equal Leading Goal Scorer!

The Equal Footingball competition is for players with ‘competitive disadvantages’ and their families to enjoy accessible sport and befriend teammates and opponents. Many people with disabilities or just beginning in the game have found it to be a good starting point and a few have discovered the pathways to Special Olympics and Paralympics, playing for their state and country.
The Western Knights are an inaugural participant in Equal Footingball and encourages like minded participants to contact our club or Football West for more information on how to get involved.
